Postawork is a portal of repairs and services that connects customers and experts. Not all services are sometimes available. If you do not find a service that you offer you can suggest it by sending an email to postawork.uk@gmail.com. We will verify your request and enter the missing service.
Sure! Unlike other similar sites on Postawork even if you are an expert you can still post a quote request and receive offers from experts around you. Click HERE and enter the service you need in the search bar, once you receive the first offers you can see them by going to Posts -> My Posts and clicking on the corresponding request
To respond to customer requests:
From the Email: Review the details of the request and click on the "Send a Proposal" button
From the Website: Click on the link at the top left All Requests, once clicked, if present, you will see all the customer requests around your location.
If there is no request and you want to try to extend your range of action try to select from the drop down menu a larger area.
To see the details of a request click on the title.
To make a proposal click on the submit a proposal button, fill out the estimate with the estimated price, the timing and a message (Optional) and click on send.
If you wish to change your preferences regarding the services offered indicated during registration:
1) Access your profile with your credentials
2) Click on your name at the top right and from the drop down menu below select the item "Settings"
3) Click on "services"
4) Use the text field to type or select from the drop-down menu below the services you wish to add. If you wish to remove the added services click on the X on the right of the service name.
5) Click on the "Save Changes" button to confirm the changes
On Postawork, once registered as an expert you will be able to enter up to 10 images about your business.
What images to put?
Send photos about where you work or your team to increase customer confidence or send images of your best work to bring out your field experience.
How to upload images?
1) Access your profile with your credentials
2) Click on your name at the top right and from the drop down menu below select the item "Settings"
3) Click on the item "Images"
4) Click on the "Add Pictures" button, select or drag the images you want to upload (you can also select several images at the same time) and confirm. In case you want to delete a loaded image you can click the X icon in the upper right to delete it.
5) Once all the images have been loaded click the "Save changes" button to confirm the changes. If you had saved your changes and wanted to delete one or more images you can select the X icon in the upper right corner all the images to be removed (all the selected images will have a red border) and click on the "Save Changes" button to confirm the your changes.
The range of action determines the geographical area from which you will receive customer requests.
How to change the address or the workspace?
If you wish to change the address or work area indicated during registration:
1) Access your profile with your credentials
2) Click on your name at the top right and from the drop down menu below select the item "Settings"
3) Click on the "distance" item
4) Use the text field to type or select the address you wish to change from the drop-down menu below.
If you only want to change the work area, select the maximum distance from which you want to receive customer requests from the drop-down menu. If you work remotely or via shipping services you can select "All Country".
5) Click on the "Save Changes" button to confirm the changes
I can not enter my address correctly
If there are no suggestions from the drop-down menu or the suggestions are not correct try to enter an address next to yours.
At the end of the registration process you can contact us to inform us of the correct address.

How to add the description?

3) Click on the item "description"
4) Once you have finished entering the description, click on the "Save Changes" button to confirm the changes.
If you want to change your business name, your working hours, the employees number your tax ID, your phone number or your site:
1) Access your profile with your credentials
2) Click on your name at the top right and from the drop down menu below select the item "Settings"
3) Click on the item "Business Info"
4) Indicate your preferences and click on the "Save Changes" button to confirm the changes

Once you have completed the registration and you have chosen the categories of services you deal with, you will receive the requests of the customers to whom you can send a personalized quote.
- Specific questions will be asked to the customers according to the chosen category in order to obtain precise estimates.
If you have noticed too many notifications for customer requests try to reduce the number of categories of services offered or reduce the range of the maximum distance within which to receive requests (you can set your preferences by going to My profile -> Category preferences).
-The customers will be able to insert a preference regarding how to meet with the expert, but you will be able to propose to the client how you will be reached.
Posting proposals on Postawork is completely free but sometimes it is possible, even after sending many estimates that you can not be hired or receive a response from customers.
If you want to send a winning quote try to keep these tips in mind:
Make sure you have set the right preferences
Many customers prefer to rely on experts who are relatively close to their position. If you send quotes to people who are too far away, perhaps they will not take your proposal into consideration.
Try to respond immediately to customer requests
For many customers the speed in responding to their requests is a determining factor in choosing the right expert.
Try to be always updated on new requests and send your quote as soon as possible
Offer a competitive but realistic price
Customers generally appreciate realistic but honest prices. Try to understand the customer's problem well and offer an appropriate price that is not unrealistically low (or customers will not trust your offer).
Send a professional message
Together with your proposal you can send a personalized initial message.
Try to look as professional as possible by suggesting advice and clearly explaining the process of the work you are going to perform.
Can customers see my contact details?
Yes, your contact details will be visible, along with your proposal, your profile and your reviews.
The customer can contact you via our chat or via the phone you provided.
For each message that the customer sends, you will receive a notification.
Once you submit your proposal you will no longer be able to send messages unless the customer responds with a new message to your proposal through the chat of Postawork, in which case the chat will be unlocked and you can send unlimited messages to the client.
What happens after submitting the proposal?
Once the proposal has been sent, the client will be notified and will have the opportunity to visit your profile, your reviews and your contact information.
You can always review or delete the submitted proposal, but you will not be able to send any further messages to the customer unless they have accepted your proposal or sent you a message first.
If the customer decides to accept your proposal the chat will automatically unlock.
In case of error or change of mind it is not possible to modify a sent proposal but you can always delete it by going to "all requests" under "Sent" and clicking on your proposal. Once in the page of your proposal, you can click on the delete link at the top right.
If the customer decides to accept your proposal he will be able to "hire you" for his project.
By accepting your proposal, the chat with the customer will be unlocked allowing you to send messages to the customer without limitations and the customer can put feedback on the experience he had with your services.
Try to be always communicative indicating your availability and explaining what the next steps will be.
Proposals can have 2 status:
In Progress
The proposals in progress have been correctly sent to the client
Hired
The Hired proposals have been accepted by the customer
